About Dhaka University Evening MBA Program:

Dhaka University MBA (Evening) is an addition approved by the academic council on 2024. the existing educational Programs of the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka.

Students can look at the basic features of this program: 

To complete the program in the shortest possible time, du introduced this program as a tri-semester system and unique program to address individual students’ needs.

The program has been designed and is being executed because of the executives’ growing demand for developing necessary skills and learning, appropriate analytical tools, and techniques of decision-making for effectively and efficiently managing organizations in a changing global scenario.

A student is to take 21 courses of 63(sixty-three) credit hours and internship and project paper of 3(three) credit hours for the MBA degree total 66(sixty-six) credit.

However, with the waiver of fundamental course(s), if granted based on the students’ academic background and attainment, some of them will be allowed to take less than 21 courses.

Eligibility for Application: 

1. Students Completed a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject/discipline with a minimum of 6 points.
2. Points System:

• In Division: First Division- 3 Points, Second Division- 2 Points
• In GPA: GPA 4- 3 Points, GPA 3- 2 Points, GPA 2.5- 1 Point

1. Applicant securing 3rd Class or securing GPA below 2.5 in any examination will not be eligible to apply.
2. Years of Schooling and job experience will carry weight.

Instruction and Guideline for Online Application 

Before you start applying online, make sure that you have the required information, which is enlisted below:

1. All Personal Information (Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, etc.)

Online Form Fill Up Instruction:

1. First of all, you need to go to the Dhaka University MBA (Evening) Website, which is- http://fbs-du.com/admission.
2. Or go to this URL- http://admission.ctidu.org/.
3. Then click the Admission Form.
4. Upload a Photo.
5. Photo Instruction: The size of the Photograph (passport) should be 300 × 300 pixels
6. (*) Symbols indicate Mandatory Field; you must be filled up that information.
7. Fill up the text boxes with appropriate information.
8. Please provide your active contact number and email address so that they can contact you if required.
9. Then Submit the Application.
10. Before submitting your application, Make sure that you have uploaded your picture and All required Information to complete the form.
11. After submitting your application, you will find an EMBA Login ID.
12. Save it for the payment and go to the payment procedure.

Payment Instruction:

1. You can pay the admission fee by Mobile banking (Rocket, bKash, Sure Cash)

1. After submitting your online application form, you have to click the procedure for the payment.
2. Select DBBL rocket
3. On the next page, you will find a text box (DBBBL Account Number, Pin code of your account number)
4. Click submit
5. On the next page, an SMS will send to your DBBL Mobile Account Number with an authentication code.
6. Type the authentication code to the online text box.
7. Click submit.
8. A page will appear with a complete payment confirmation.

5. In references, type your EMBA login ID (What you get after Fill up your application form).

7. For Confirmation, Type your 4 Digit bKash Account Pin Code.
8. After completing the mobile payment, you will get a Transaction ID.
9. To complete the payment, log in with your EMBA login id, Mobile Number, Payment Option.
10. And Submit Payment.

Sure cash Payment Method:

How to make the payments with by your Sure cash account, the instruction is given below:

1. Dial *495# (Banglalink Operator), Dial *257# (Airtel Operator), Dial *375# (Teletalk Operator), Dial 09606060606 (Grameenphone, Robi Operator).
2. Choose the option Payment.
3. In payee account or keyword type- DUEMBA
4. In EMBA Admission Login id: Type your EMBA login ID.
5. Enter your sure cash account pin code
6. After completing the mobile payment, you will get a Transaction ID.
7. To complete the payment, log in with your EMBA login id, Mobile Number, Payment Option.
8. And Submit Payment.

DU EMBA Admit Card

• After Successful completion of your online application and payment, you can download your admit card.
• You can print The admit card from fbs-du.com.
• To download your admit card, you will need your EMBA Login ID and Mobile Number.

How to get Admit Card:

1.  Visit- EMBA Admit Card
2. Input EMBA Login ID, Mobile Number.
3. Select the Payment Mode.
4. Click on Log in.
5. Download the Admit Card.

DU EMBA Admission Test Process

• The admission test will be held on
• Candidates seeking admission in the program will have to sit for an MCQ test and a written test of 90 minutes.
• The MCQ Test of 55 minutes and the written test of 35 minutes will be conducted on aptitude, logical reasoning, situational analysis, and writing ability, especially in the English language, distributed in two sections.

• The negative marking for every wrong answer is 0.20 marks.
• Applicants have to achieve minimum qualifying marks in both the exams.
• The written test will conduct to assess the candidates’ comprehension ability.

Instruction for the Students

• Use of a calculator is not permitted in the Examination Hall.
• Use of a Mobile phone or similar device is strictly prohibited in the Examination Hall.
• Applicants who passed from Blacklisted Universities declared by UGC will not appear before the admission test (check UGC website for more information).
• Use the black ballpoint pen to write your name, Admit number, and also examination.
• Your dress up and grooming of hair should be such that your ears are apparent at all times. No electronic devices in the ear are allowed.

DU EMBA Authority will publish the Admission Test Result on the official website of DU EMBA. You can download the Result from the Dhaka University Evening MBA Official Website. You can also Search it from here.

The Candidates must produce the following documents at the time of Viva Voce.

Publication of selection list: 

1. The merit list will be based on:

4. admission test score.
5. The merit list will be published within three weeks of holding the admission test.

Interview and Selection Process:

1. The selected number of successful candidates in order of merit will be called for an interview.
2. A schedule will be announced at the time of publication of the admission test result.
3. The interview committee will evaluate them on a scale of 5.

Admission and Course Fee: 

Each student will pay a semester enrollment fee of Tk. 3000, the registration fee of Tk. 10000 (One time), and Tk. 2500 for each credit hour.

Depending upon the courses’ waiver, the total cost varies from Tk 112000 to Tk 199000 to complete the MBA (Evening) program.
