National University is release the admission result 2nd merit lists and subject change result for the 1st merit list for the 2023-2024 academic year. The results available from April 18, 2024 at 4. P.M on nu.ac.bd/admissions website.

Honours Program has four course which is For Science- B.Sc (Hon’s), For Business Studies/Commerce- BBA, For Humanities/Arts- B.S.S, B.A (Honours). But anyone can apply any post if they are eligible to apply for NU Honours admission.

NU Admission Result 2024- 2nd Merit List

In the National University’s 2023-2024 academic year, the following procedures regarding subject changes for students admitted in the 2nd merit lists will be implemented:

  1. 2nd merit list will be announced on April 18, 2024, at 4 PM. The results will be accessible through SMS (send “nu<space>athn<space>roll no” to 16222) from 4 PM on the same day and on the admission website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions) from 9 PM.
  2. Students admitted in the 2nd merit list who were also admitted to any educational program in the academic year 2022-2023 must cancel their previous admission by April 24, 2024, and complete the final admission form online. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of their admission for the 2023-2024 academic year.
  3. Students placed in the 2nd merit list who wish to change their subject must select the “Yes” option in the specific cell of the final admission form. Subject changes will be based on merit and subject-wise vacant seats in respective colleges.
  4. The admission process for students admitted in the 2nd merit list will follow the schedule below:
    • From April 18, 2024: Download the admission form of the changed subject online.
    • April 21, 2024: Collection of print/PDF copy of the admission form.
    • April 28, 2024: Confirmation of admission for students who changed their subject.
  5. No fee is required for subject changes.
  6. Students placed in the 2nd merit list must fill the online admission form on the National University admission website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions) and collect the print/PDF copy.
  7. A registration fee of Rs. 565/- (Five Hundred and Sixty-Five) is applicable for students placed in the 2nd merit list. This fee should be paid to the concerned college through mobile banking or as prescribed by the college.
  8. Final admission confirmation by the college for students placed in the 2nd merit list must be completed by April 21, 2024. College authorities must verify all information and photographs displayed in the admission form.

For any discrepancies observed, the college authorities should report the matter in writing to the Dean, School of Undergraduate Education, National University, Gazipur-1704.

For payment of the registration fee, the college must download the Pay Slip by clicking on the Admission Payment Info (Honours) option through Login. The registration fee should be deposited at any Sonali Bank branch with the provided account number and the receipt collected with its print copy.

HOW TO CHECK NU HONOURS ADMISSION RESULT 2nd merit list

In this section, We are going to provide the instruction and guideline for checking the result both Online and SMS. Students can use this instruction for checking the honours admission result first merit list, second merit list, release slip and release slip result.

To check the result, students can follow these steps:

  1. SMS Method: Send an SMS to 16222 with the following format: nu<space>athn<space>roll no. For example, if your roll number is 123456, you would send: nu athn 123456. This service will be available starting from 4 PM on April 18, 2024.
  2. Online Method: Visit the National University admission website at www.nu.ac.bd/admissions. Navigate to the result section, which should be accessible from the homepage. Enter your roll number and other required details as per the instructions provided. The result will be available online from 9 PM on April 18, 2024.

By following either of these methods, students can easily check their admission result for the 2023-2024 academic year.

  • First of all, You need to go the National University Admission Website which is app1.nu.edu.bd
  • Click the Honours Tab and Find the (Honours Applicant Login Click Here)
  • Click that link.
  • After that, a page will appear with the text box Admission Roll and Pin Number.
  • In that box, type your admission roll and pin number
  • After that, a page will appear whether you got a chance or not.
  • If you get a chance, you can fill up the admission form
  • If you do not get a chance, you have to wait for the release slip.

How to Fill up the NU Honours Final Admission Form  

  1. First of All, you need to go to National University Honours Admission and log in with your Admission Roll Number and Pin Number
  2. After login to your account, Find the admission form and Click it
  3. In next page, Fill up the required Information:
  • Nationality
  • Religion
  • Guardian Name, Mobile Number,
  • Annual Income
  • Permanent and present address.

Subject Migration: In admission form, you will find a Subject Migration option (Yes or No)

  1. About Subject Migration, if you want to get the 1st Preference list subject. For example, if you get the 3rd subject in your subject preference list, you can apply for the 1st and 2nd subject and if you get the 2nd subject in your subject preference list, you can apply for the only 1st subject from your subject preference list.
  2. Which Subject you will get, it will be decided by the National University Authority
  3. If you want to migrate subject, you have to choose option yes and if you don’t want to migrate subject, you have to choose no.
  4. The Subject Migration result will be published with the 2nd merit list of National University Honours Admission degree result.
